1999 - 2005 - Senior Consultant, Computerland NZ
In 1999 I joined Computerland NZ to start my consulting career. My initial role was to 'prepare Computerland for Active Directory' which was soon to be launched. During this time I established an Active Directory and Exchange 2000 'practice' at Computerland that sought to construct design templates, frameworks and methodologies for the design and implementation of Active Directory and Exchange systems. In this role I was the lead architect for most of the larger AD and Exchange projects undertaken by Computerland across New Zealand. Other consultants came to use my design templates and methodologies and this was very productive for Computerland.
During the end of my career at Computerland I started out an Identity Management practice in which I invested in capability development and practice material - an activity I was to continue in my next role at Optimation.
